  • Mood:

I'm still not going to talk about this past weekend.  Suffice it to say, it sucked butt!  However, it's now Wednesday & I'm not going to think about it anymore.

Yesterday I decided to splurge and bought some books.  I'm a bad, bad girl because honestly I really & truly couldn't afford them.  Like I care!  he-he  I bought Holidays are Hell (an anthology w/ Kim Harrison, et. al.), Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost (good so far), Moon Called by Patricia Briggs, Demon Angel & Demon Moon by Meljean Brook, and the new anthology w/ JD Robb.  I read the 2 anthologies last night and I'm reading Halfway to the Grave right now.  I should know better than to try reading new books at work.  It's just a bad idea.

The weather has been really nice these last few weeks.  It's allowing me to wear comfy clothes and not a ton of layers.  I bet you tomorrow it'll be freezing.  That's usually how it works.  I'm amazed it's not raining tonight.  Almost every Halloween it rains here.  Boo, hiss, bah humbug!

I'm very peeved.  I'd set up all of my shows to tape via DVR on Monday, but a transformer or fuse blew.  None of my shows taped!  So I missed Heroes & Chuck!    And we don't have internet access at home AT ALL because when the fuse blew it blew out most of our outlets (old house).  So most of our stuff is jimmy-rigged until A. my dad fixes it or B. we get an electrician.    As much as I love the character of old homes, the upkeep is enough to make me want to steer clear.  I just hate the boxy uniformity of all the new houses.  It drives me batty!

Not much else going on.  Work is slow at night, so I've been playing online and reading.  Fun, fun, fun!

Bye!
